MTG, Viasat in Telia IPTV deal
Modern Times Group, aka, MTG, an international entertainment broadcasting group, has announced that Viasat Broadcasting has signed a five year agreement with Swedish Telecommunications operator, Telia, to enable Viasat to market and sell its pay-TV channel packages to Telia’s 300,000 IPTV customers and broadband subscribers, beginning 1 June 2008.
