Joost boosts content with Chello Zone
Chello Zone is to supply content from its Zone Reality and Zone Horror channels to Internet television service Joost.
Joost will show Psychic Private Eyes, Haunted Houses and Disasters of the Century from Zone Reality content, together with the Grindhouse titles and the popular CUT! short films from Zone Horror.
Channel operator Chello Zone, which was formerly known as Zonemedia, already provides programming from its Extreme Sports channel to Joost, which has been well received by viewers.
Joost, which was founded by Janus Friis and Niklas Zennström, combines TV with the choice, control and flexibility of Web 2.0.
It brings together advertisers, content owners and viewers in an interactive, community-driven environment.
