Tiscali and JumpTV announce major UK IPTV deal
by Brian Turner
Tiscali and JumpTV have announced a deal that will see the broadband provider soon deliver IPTV from across the world to the UK.
JumpTV will provide video player software on the Tiscali UK portal, in the entertainment section.
Tiscali broadband customers will then be able to access IPTV from 70 countries, including Jamaica and Bangladesh.
It marks an aggressive expansion by Tiscali to secure itself in the UK internet market, after purchasing Pipex earlier in the year.
JumpTV already offers more than 300 channels, which are sourced from all around the world, and can be set up in different subscription packages.
