Kay Sears appointed head Intelsat general

Intelsat Ltd will appoint Kay Sears, a former Senior Vice President of Sales and Business Development with 20 years experience in the industry, as President Intelsat General.
The announcement was released, after current President, William Shernit, announced his resignation, which will be effective from 30 June 2008, on his return to retirement.
Ms. Sears, who has over 20 years’ experience in the satellite industry, holds an MBA from George Washington University and a B.S. from the University of Richmond.
