IPTV in the Czech Republic takes off
Telephonic O2 has managed to more than double its user base in less than six months, at the beginning of the year they had 16,000 subscribers, that figure is now 38,000. Also with the same time frame the company had 526,000 ADSL access points, whereas at the beginning of the year this figure was only 56,000.
Obviously with these figures there is the growth in income too, the revenues coming in from broadband services, such as ADSL, IPTV and other content brought in 64 million euros, which is over 42% up on the same period last year.
The thing is the company are planning to introduce bundled packages which will combine various permutations of fixed line, mobile, internet and IPTV services, these bundles will attract more customers to be tempted into trying other services and means that the company can further stream line packages to fit in with each other, and therefore mean even more revenues and of course profits.
