Access to MyWaves is provided after a short sign up process, once a member the user will be able to browse the site and share media. They will have access to over 100,000 user generated video channels, plus access to some private and premium channels too.
MyWaves has partnership deals in place with CNN, MTV, Discovery and Comedy Central, which allows the site to the rights to show content from each of the partner sites. The service is available in 150 countries, and is already on 350 carriers, which should be ok with most video enabled mobile phones.
The mobile phone market has a great future with video, this method of viewing suites many busy people who only have time to view some programming while travelling to and from work. This time is potentially a gold mine for providers such as MyWaves.
