Joost looking for more speed
The peer to peer streaming technology company Joost wants more speed and in order to get it they are looking towards Level 3 the network solutions provider.
Level 3 has been chosen by Joost, to support its broadcast quality IPTV service. Level 3’s deal with Joost will see them provide high speed internet access and co location service in both North America and Europe, a huge marketplace.
Joost intend to expand on its idea of being able to watch TV combined with full screen entertainment along with fully integrative community tools. This means that such things like on demand services like video etc., the idea to give the subscriber the means and ability to search, pay for and view their choice of programming, as and when they want to.
With all of this in place, it will enable Joost to develop its business, this will attract advertisers and top programming and events, without this the programming will not exist and therefore the revenues fall dramatically.
