USTelematics announces Microsoft integration
USTelematics, Inc has announced that its own Voyager in-car Mobile Internet Protocol TV will be carefully integrated with Microsoft’s MSN Autos Gas Price Finder, to provide the user with a premium of information, finding the closest and most effectively priced local fuel stations.
The feature is available to Voyager customers who opt, as an optional extra, to receive the GPS upgrade which will automatically have the Gas Price Finder feature.
Microsoft MSN Auto’s online fuel prices are integrated with the Voyager facility via on-screen touch; the information on the user’s location is automatically sent to the MSN facility, which then reports back with relevant information.
USTelematics has captured an opportunity by identifying a gap in the market, as well as maximizing its presence in the market, by capitilising on a industry that they are not even part of, fuel.
Demonstrations of the system are available online.
The cost of the GPS Module is the initial upgrade on the Voyager platform, and the monthly cost of EVDO broadband services for the Voyager. No additional charge will be implicated for anyone using the service.
Once again we decrease our independence, and increase how reliant we are on the internet, which is now becoming a vehicle to save money.
