Lycos launches Jubii TV
A new on line service from Lycos has been launched and will go under the name of Jubii TV, this is a partnership deal with Kewego, this where a white label video platform can be integrated into the existing Jubii sites by a completely seamless method.
This will give the already huge Lycos an additional service for the 44 million users. Who will be able to share, exchange or just simply view the videos, but with a twist, the language that the video is shown in will be the native language of where it is viewed from.
This sort of system is already in place vis the French and English sites, but will be available in German, Spanish, Italian and Dutch very soon.
Kewego is an company that was formed in France and offered a white label video platform to major brands, especially Telecom companies such as Orange and T On line. There total amount videos that have been viewed through this service just in the last month, is around the 75 million mark and growing all the time. This is a huge amount of video traffic, and has been sitting there begging to be integrated into a large multi national company like Lycos.
