Spirent Communications Hand Held Tester
Spirent Communications Plc have released details of an addition to its range, which will come in the form of a hand-held network and service quality tester, the Spirent Tech-X Flex.
The idea behind the development is a portable network and service quality tester of IP video services, which can identify problems efficiently, in the consumer’s habitat, as well as supporting Ethernet and Wireless Local Area Network technologies.
Telecommunications companies and Cable TV operators, will be able to use the Spirent Tech-X Flex to embrace the quality of experience for their customers with a formal troubleshooting process which highlights potential issues, whether that be related to the network, or the service.
The ease of use of the Spirent Tech-X Flex, becomes apparent when the user embarks on the effortless process of integration with the likes of back office systems.
The Spirent Tech-X Flex will be used in the above environment by field technicians allowing, once again, the efficient deployment of IP-based video services, with a reduced misdiagnosis percentage, which in turn will lead to a more cost effective troubleshooting process.
To make things even more interesting, Spirent Communications have created the only product of its kind that will allow the home based troubleshooting process, supporting dual MoCA test interface, suitable for home networks.
