IPTV Series Award won by Juniper Networks and Intelliden
The IPTV World Series Award for Best IPTV Test and Quality of Service/Experience Solution has been won by Juniper Networks and Intelliden.
The companies’ joint Dynamic Network Automation solution was selected because it helps communications service providers deliver broadband services, such as IPTV, with enhanced quality of experience, greater service reliability and higher scalability while containing operational costs.
The breakthrough DNA solution provides the critical link between network policy and OSS systems to enable dynamic allocation of network resources, and also extends intelligence to the network core.
The DNA solution was developed under Juniper's Open IP Service Creation Program. The joint solution combines Juniper Networks’ Session and Resource Control portfolio and Intelliden’s Dynamic Resource Provisioning. It is built using open application programming interfaces and is consistent with the IP Multimedia Subsystem architecture.
The joint solution complements Juniper’s Liquid LSP (label switched path) solution, which can dynamically select the best possible path through the network for advanced video services, helping to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Intelliden is a leading provider of intelligent networking solutions that enable organisations to control, manage and scale their networks.
Juniper Networks, a leader in high-performance networking, offers a high-performance network infrastructure that creates a responsive and trusted environment for accelerating the deployment of services and applications over a single network.
