Concurrent’s BEYONDEMAND Collection
Concurrent had a lot to show off at last week’s IBC 2008, with a strong selection of new ideas to demonstrate to interested parties.
They brought with them a whole range of solutions based on Linux technologies.
At the forefront of the wares they were peddling is what they called BEYONDEMAND solutions.
They had available the MediaHawk 4500, a content delivery system which can support unlimited simultaneous on-demand streams over a wide variety of transport modes.
It also make use of Gatling Resilient Streaming Technology, which sees failures and automatically sends signals down a different route for uninterrupted viewing of VOD programming for viewers.
The other items that were demonstrated included Everstream interactive data collection and reporting software, as well as Concurrent’s Myriad™ Advanced Advertising Solution.
