IPTV World Forum announces new worldwide shows
Junction Ltd has announced new dates and locations for its global IPTV World Forum shows.
Returning to familiar ground in Asia and Latin America, the IPTV World Forum has now included a show to cover ground in the rapidly expanding IPTV markets of Africa and the Middle East.
The IPTV World Forum Asia is set to the region’s leading IPTV event for the third year running, with over 4000 visitors and 150 exhibitors expected at the show. Speakers at the event will include representatives from MTV Networks Asia Pacific, Turner International, Shanghai Media Group, Bharti Airtel, and Sony Pictures.
The slightly smaller IPTV World Forum Latin America is also expected to be this years leading IPTV event in the region, bringing together over twenty telecoms companies and in excess of one thousand visitors. Speakers will represent companies from Brazil, Mexico, Columbia and Venezuala, as well as pan-national IPTV service providers such as MTV Networks Latin America and Televisoras Grupo Pacifico.
The newer IPTV World Forum Middle East and Africa is the first major IPTV event in the region, but well placed for one of the world’s fastest-growing IPTV markets, not least because Infonetics has concluded that the EMEA region currently accounts for 48% of worldwide IPTV service revenue.
Major topics across the shows will include the continuing evolution of IPTV products, technology, and markets, as well as discussions on the role of telecom’s providers in being able to shape the future of IPTV.
Sponsors of the events include Juniper Networks, Verimatrix, HYC, and Viaccess.
Show dates:
IPTV World Forum Middle East and Africa: 5th-6th November 2007, Jumeirah Beach Hotel, Dubai;
IPTV World Forum Asia: 5th-7th December 2007, Suntec, Singapore;
IPTV World Forum Latin America: 29th-30th January 2008, Intercontinental Hotel, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil;
