Metrosystems Expands Swiss IPTV Offerings
Swiss system integrator, Metrosystems, has opted to make use of ECI Telecom’s 9700 Series Carrier Ethernet Switch Router (CESR).
The first installation is already in place in Metrosystems hometown of Wil.
The company hopes that making use of the ECI equipment will allow them support they need for their expanding IPTV service in the region.
Metrosystems wants to become more heavily involved in data-driven services.
The ECI solution is expected to give them the end-to-end assistance they need for MEF-certified, carrier-grade packet transport.
The solution will allow them delivery of many business and residential Ethernet & IP services at much higher densities than their present equipment.
