100% growth in 2007 for Anevia
French telecom equipment vendor, Anevia, has reported a record year in 2007, with more than 100 new customers and 100% growth. Anevia’s technology is used at over 300 IPTV commercial deployments throughout 50 countries.
New customers include Telecom Italia France, the BBC, Tele2 of Sweden, Sierre Energie of Switzerland and City Inn in the UK. The company expects 2008 will be even more promising, with many exciting new projects in the pipeline.
The outstanding performance comes from Anevia's two main flagship product ranges: the FLAMINGO DVB to IP family of gateways for live channel streaming over IP, and the TOUCAN family of servers of On-Demand application such as VoD, nPVR, Pause TV, Catch Up TV or Start Over TV.
Anevia was founded in 2003, since when it has grown steadily in the IPTV and VOD arenas. The company’s benefits include reduced deployment time, inter-operability with major IPTV equipment providers, feature richness, ease of use, and disruptive innovating software approach versus legacy electronic-based solutions.
In 2008, new milestones will be reached. New sales and support offices will be opened and there will be a new product launch and major feature releases.
