Brazil’s telecoms regulator to speak at IPTV World Forum
Ambassador Ronaldo Mota Sardenya, President of Anatel, Brazil, is to speak at the IPTV World Forum Latin America, 29 - 30 January, Intercontinental Hotel, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Anatel is Brazil’s telecoms regulator.
The event is organised by Junction Ltd, a Bristol-based specialist in events for the digital technology market.
The event comes at a key period for IPTV in Latin America, where the take-up of the technology has quadrupled in the last two years, helped by growth in the number of broadband DSL subscribers in the region.
The forum will provide a platform to explore both the challenges facing IPTV operators in Latin America and the many opportunities in the region.
As well as Anatel, other key figures in the telecommunications industry will attend the event, including:
• Carlos Watanabe, Director of Business Development & Video Communication, Brasil Telecom;
• Juan Vasquez, VP Strategic Planning, VTR Chile;
• Jose del Valle-Iturriaga, Director of Multimedia Business, Telefónica Internacional and
• Aldo Labra, Business Devlopment Manager, Telefonica del Sur, Chile.
The IPTV World Forum Latin America is one of a world series of industry leading events run by the Junction Group.
