2.5 million German IPTV subscribers forecast by 2012

According to a study conducted by consultancy Goldmedia and supported by the German Association of Information Technology, Telecommunications and New Media, there will be 2.5 million homes subscribing to IPTV services in Germany by the year 2012. 200,000 IPTV customers for Swedish telco TeliaSonera

Swedish telco TeliaSonera has registered its 200,000th customer for its domestic IPTV service, twice the number reported in May 2007. At present more than 2.5 million households in Sweden are inside TeliaSonera’s footprint for IPTV services.
