DataMiner continues to dig deeper
Skyline Communications appears to be performing increasingly well with its open multi-vendor network management solutions, which are used by the satellite industry as well as broadcast TV, HFC broadband and of course IPTV industry, and has announced that it is increasing its deployments of its DataMiner system with many household name operators.
These include teen music gurus MTV, as well as Broadcast Australia, the national Czech Television, M6, TelstraClear, Stratos Global, worldwide French language broadcaster RTL-TVI, Overon, Roshan, and many others.
DataMiner has grown in popularity, and with its multi-vendor capabilities and open architecture vendors have seen it a useful way to lower operating expenses and add to service quality.
Skyline claims that once a vendor utilises DataMiner they find in invaluable and highly useful in consolidating their entire operations and they adopt DataMiner as their principal network management platform.
It is said to be particularly useful for service level agreement (SLA) monitoring.
In addition to leading operators, an increasing number of important system and equipment vendors turn to DataMiner for their network management needs, recognising the shift in the market towards open multi-vendor end-to-end network management applications.
DataMiner enables these partners to reinforce their product and solutions portfolio with one of the most advanced network management platforms available in the industry, and to offer their customers a comprehensive NMS solution which goes way beyond what the traditional legacy and vendor-specific element management solutions have been delivering.
