IPTV and its Nordic Expansion
The IPTV services that are provided to Salaten Bredband AS by Northport AB is set to be upgraded and expanded.
The existing IPTV will be replaced with a platform that will allow for future interactive services. The new platform will also enhance the existing services that are being provided to subscribers.
Salaten Bredband AS has IPTV service with TV Channels from Fast TV, Video on Demand from SF Anytime, and TV on Demand from TV 2 Norway. These services will continue, but the new platform prepares Salaten Bredband AS for a continued cutting edge future in IPTV technology.
Northport is currently a leading provider of open access IPTV environments in the Nordic region. Its ModulutionT Platform allows for the delivery of services over multiple networks from one environment. This gives local networks the ability to customize their programming. It also enables the end user to use the services of multiple providers in the same IPTV STB.
IPTV – Internet Protocol Television – continues to grow in the number of subscribers. By developing technology to enhance and expand the viewing experience, companies like Northport AB ensure the expansion of the technology into the future.
