Comtrend, Self Installation IPTV
NXTcomm08 will be the host to various launches and demonstrations, including Comtrend Corporation’s launch of two new products the PowerGrid 902 UPA compliant Powerline Ethernet Adapter and the CT-5363 Wireless ADSL2+ Router.
The products are running parallel with technology, identifying the need to keep up with services such as IPTV and Home Networking.
The local area network can be extended, using speeds of up to 200Mbps without the use of extra wiring, with the help of the new Comtrend PowerGrid 902 Powerline Ethernet Adapter, which plugs into a wall outlet.
Simplicity is the key with the new 902 Powerline Ethernet Adapter; requiring no technician or telco based assistance means a more cost effective method is in place.
A connection can be made by simply plugging the adaptors into electrical outlets and one button then synchronizes the units. All the user then has to do is plug in Ethernet cables and they have a high speed connection inside the home with Quality of Service fully capable of IPTV.
The Comtrend CT-5363 is a high grade ADSL2+ residential gateway, multi functional as it can also be used as a Ethernet Router, allowing operators to use the same gateway for every aspect of deployment, in a cost effective manner.
