Fame TV partners with Vodafone Live Mobile TV
Fame TV, which broadcasts user-created video, photos and music on Sky 187, has entered into a partnership with Vodafone Live Mobile TV. The channel has started to stream its programming live online at www.fametv.com and Vodafone users can tune in at any time.
The move follows demand for an online service from people without Sky Digital and Fame TV’s registered users from outside the UK.
The online stream will allow viewers from all over the world to interact with each other and promote their home-made content on live TV.
Fame’s online service is available without a Sky Digital subscription - credits are available at www.fametv.com/Register.aspx to view the service on either a computer or a mobile phone.
Vodafone customers get direct access to the channel by subscribing to the company’s basic live services package.
Hertfordshire-based Fame TV is the only TV channel in the UK and Ireland which broadcasts viewer-created video content. Viewers can either send video clips and photos from a mobile phone via MMS, or upload them from FameTV’s site.
