iBAHN installs ETVi at Custom House Hotel
Building on the earlier installation of iBAHN’s advanced High Speed Internet Access (HSIA) solution, the Custom House Hotel in London’s Canary Wharf, has now selected iBAHN’s Digital in-room entertainment package, ETVi.
The service will benefit business travelers, and also visitors to the 2012 Olympics - the hotel is a preferred hospitality provider for athletes, volunteers, contractors and others involved with the event.
Since introducing iBAHN’s HSIA solution, which replaced T-Mobile’s Hotspot service, the hotel has noted a significant increase in revenue.
The introduction of ETVi will now allow the hotel to integrate services and in-room entertainment. Installation should be completed in September.
Guest will then be able to order room service, and make reservations from the comfort of their hotel room, over the TV.
Graeme Powell, managing director EMEA, iBAHN, said: “The Custom House hotel is a perfect example of how high quality and secure HSIA services can quickly and clearly benefit a hotel’s bottom line. By investing in ETVi digital in-room entertainment, the hotel can expect to see further improvements financially, but also enjoy enhanced guest satisfaction, differentiating its offering from competitors and encouraging repeat bookings.”
