Revenues up for VOD provider Jetix

Jetix, which provides videoclips for children, is developing its online presence through its broadband service.

The company achieved a 2% increase in revenue, for the year to September 30, to €166.4 million, while channels and online revenue increased 2% to €122.9 million. Other channel and online revenue increased by €1.8 million to €5.0 million.

The Jetix VOD player produces 1 million initiated streams per month, with videoclips available to viewers in UK, Germany, Italy and Israel, while full-length episodes are available to viewers in the Netherlands, Spain and Poland.

An online game supporting the launch of Oban Star Racers has already received 4 million game plays.

The company has secured IPTV deals in the UK, France, Spain, Germany, Israel and Switzerland, and also provides mobile channels in France, Spain, Germany and Israel.
