Digisoft Offers Software Development Kit
Digisoft.tv is now offering a wider release of its much touted Software Development Kit (SDK), which works in conjunction with their own delivery platform known as DigiHost.
IPTV services can benefit from SDK by making use of its “toolset” that is very useful for developing interactive television applications known as iTV.
The company claim that this in turn will offer users SD and HD new revenue opportunities, that will not involve increased CAPEX.
SDK is an integral part of the company’s DigiHost Service Delivery Platform that is responsible for the management of interactive TV services, in particular through the JAVA driven program guide system found with set-top box connections, as well as PCs and portable gadgets.
By making us of SDK, operators can take existing apps and customise them for use with TVs, all kinds of portable units and PCs. They can also develop new revenue producing iTV apps.
The SDK will also provide users with ways to rapidly create JAVA samples and libraries.
According to the company, the tools will give operators all kinds of opportunities to create new revenue which will quickly pay back the initial outlay.
It is flexible and easily scalable and above all gives choice to operators looking for new opportunities.
