itaas launches first pre-deployment SDV tool

itaas Inc., is launching the industry’s first pre-deployment SDV tool, the Switched Digital Video Client Simulator, which allows cable operators to road test their SDV services.

The new simulator aims to highlight potential issues, before products and services are introduced to the open market.

Of course, this can only be done by loading various patterns of viewing patterns, and sudden changes of behavior on a large scale.
