Allied Telesis and Comtrend Offer Interoperability for Bonded Solution

A provider of secure IP/Ethernet access solutions and IP Triple Play networks capable of operating over both fibre and other infrastructures, Allied Telesis, has entered into a partnership with home-networking solutions provider Comtrend.

Allied intends to make use of Comtrend’s NexusLink 5631 as its bonded solutions modem for use with the company’s 11.0 firmware for its integrated Multiservice Access Platform that allows providers ADSL link bonding for added bandwidth use with IPTV channels.
