Canalstat to incorporate Harmonic solutions

Canalsat has incorporated the DiviCom® Electra® 7000 high definition (HD) and Electra 5400 standard definition (SD) high density encoders from Harmonic, into its ASDL video service to meet the demand for superior HD quality.

Other providers have seen the advantages Harmonics compression systems can do including: Aliant, HanseNet, Jazztel, PCCW, Portugal Telecom, SaskTel, SingTel, T-Com Germany, Telekom Austria, Tiscali UK and Yahoo!BB.
