Avail Media and Verimatrix Sign up 40 Affiliates

Verimatrix, have made use of TelcoTV 08 running this week in Anaheim, California, to announce that it has managed to sign up over 40 new Avail Media affiliates.

According to the company’s calculations these 40 new members will bring around half a million homes under their umbrella.

Their members will now benefit from the company’s Video Content Authority System, VCAS, which will provide live broadcasts of MPEG-4 IPTV content. The new signups represent 76% of Avail Media’s total customer base.

Verimatrix and Avail Media have been working in harmony since the very earliest days of the IPTV wholesale market.

They are now capable of delivering several unique features with enhanced support for IPTV 2.3 allowing secure distribution as well as decryption keys for each individual operator
