Velocix Aquires RawFlow’s P2P Streaming
RawFlow’s P2P streaming technology has now been officially licensed to Velocix(tm), according to a recent announcement, which will see the company operate with sole responsibility for the distribution and back up of the RawFlow’s Intelligent Content Delivery.
The Velocix Live Streaming brand will be the basis on which the ICD product will be marketed.
This has a Hybrid-P2P Live Streaming choice, which means the service now includes Live Video Streaming for Adobe Flash & Microsoft Windows Media, and Live Audio Streaming.
Existing customers will automatically make the transition to Velocix.
Rawflow and Velocix have collaborated on projects for several years now, displaying vast amounts of potential in partnership development, within the industry, and the latest development will allow Rawflow to concentrate on its SelfCast consumer proposition.
The Velocix Network gives the likes of owners, studios, and broadcasters the ability to deliver video or software, and even games and audio over the web, with optimum performance.
This is due to the quality of the asset delivery lifecycle management system that provides owners of the content the control, analytics and reporting they need to manage their current assets.
