TEO adds Accedo gaming applications to IPTV service

Accedo Broadband has entered into an agreement to supply interactive gaming applications to TEO LT, the Lithuanian incumbent telco.

Accedo will provide TEO’s “Interactive GALA” IPTV service with a range of games including cards, casino, puzzles, strategy, board games and quizzes.

TEO is adding gaming to its IPTV service in order to enhance customer experience and increase ARPU.

Interactive GALA was launched in October 2006 and had 17,500 subscribers at the end of 2007. TEO LT has also just launched a DTT platform.

Accedo is a leading aggregator and distributor of interactive applications and content. It is a privately held company with offices in Stockholm, Sweden, London UK and San Francisco, USA.
