Verimatrix Still Has Best Worldwide Potential
Verimatrix is considered to be the IPTV content security seen as being in a position for best growth prospects, at least according to MRG, Multimedia Research Group.
This is based on the fact that the company currently have a large number of tier one operator deployments.
In fact the study, which is conducted every six months, discovered that they have more than 400% more tier one operator deployments than their nearest rival, which places them in a currently insurmountable position.
Verimatrix is in the top five in its field, in four major global regions, in a highly competitive industry.
MRG analyzes no less than 80 IPTV hardware and software vendors across the globe.
These are in turn broken down to four regions Asia, Europe, North America and Rest of World. Verimatrix was well placed in each of the four areas.
MRG has some prestigious clients for its security features including Nokia Siemens Networks, Motorola, Sun, and Ericsson. They are also motivated to expand into other areas away from IPTV.
The well received Video Content Authority System for IPTV has proved a winner for the company, as part of what it refers to as its 3-Dimensional Content Security set-up, for all kinds of security applications including IP networks for live broadcast and Video-on-Demand IPTV services.
The system has also been taken up by several Hollywood Movie and TV studios for securing their movie content including Disney, Discovery, HBO, Showtime and ESPN.
