Another Big Indian job For Optibase and UTStarcom
Another Indian IPTV company have selected Optibase to supply their encoder needs.
Optibase has been chosen by United Telecoms Ltd, Bangalore and their sub-provider UTStarcom for their Goa Broadband Network in the highly popular tourist region.
The streaming platform H.264 from Optibase will be utilized by UTStarcom with their IPTV solution known as RollingStream.
The intention is to provide broadband users in sunny Goa with broadcast level TV reception, as well as On Demand TV services via the internet.
Both UTStarcom and Optibase have been very successful in the Indian Market.
This year they have both signed up three big players in this potentially gigantic sub-continental market, Aksh Optifibre Limited, Time Broadband Services and Bharti Airtel.
