OctopusMT & LDA launch Olympic website

by Jan Harris

Octopus Media Technology is using its IPTV expertise to support the British team in Beijing.

In association with the London Development Agency, the company has launched www.L2B2008.com, which allows anyone to record and upload a video message of support for the 300+ British athletes in at the games.

The website is also a showcase for Octopus Media Technology’s leading edge online video content management and delivery system.

Founder and President of Octopus Media Technology, Andrew Eborn, said the site “will enable everyone to share the passion and excitement and be a real part of the 2008 Games. It will also provide an excellent bridge between Beijing Olympics 2008 and our own London Olympics in 2012”.
