Imagine Communications demonstrate its Video Platform

The Cable Show 2008, May 18-20, will be where Imagine Communications demonstrate their ICE™ Video Platform across all cable digital video applications.

Imagine hopes to demonstrate the strengths of the Platform, which leverages video processing and multiplexing technology, which helps to provide a cost effective delivery option for cable operators.

The following solutions will be demonstrated:

• The ICE Broadcast System - High video quality and efficient multiplexing.
• The ICE VOD System - 50 percent more VOD streams per 256 QAM channel, enhanced video quality, consumer-controlled PersonalizedTV services.
• The ICE SDV System - Improved bandwidth efficiency of switched digital video, enhanced video quality of existing SDV networks.
• Video Layer Quality of Service - Allows operators to pre-calibrate and establish video quality levels.
