Tilgin get their breakthrough
Tilgin, who specialises in providing customers with equipment such as multi-play and next-generation broadband services, has won an order which will signify a huge boost in revenue for the company, and a big step forward as far as market penetration is concerned.
Tilgin will be supplying its HD IPTV, alongside its popular management solutions, to a South European telecom operator.
According to the announcement, the order will involve a volume of around 1.7 MUSD, but of course, that is just the start out phase, and as the commercial development continues to grow, so will the order volumes.
Tilgin are sure that this signifies a breakthrough order, which allows them to distribute their services on a mass penetration scale, showing off the capabilities of their next generation broadband services.
The first line of distribution will see Tilgin deliver High Definition Mood 400 IP set-top boxes and management software, which will be inclusive of their entry level unit, as well as including Personal Video Recording capabilities.
The South European telecom operator will benefit from upgrade capabilities if they so wish, which if they choose, will allow a more futuristic, advanced service, including multi-device media sharing and communications
