by Jan Harris

Fireworks International, the television and feature film distribution division of ContentFilm, has secured a distribution deal with US digital entertainment company Mondo Media.

Under the terms of the agreement, Fireworks will have international rights, excluding in the US, to distribute over 20 hours of shortform animation for Mondo Media.

The catalogue, entitled Mondo Media’s Mondo Mini Shows, includes adult comedy programming for broadcast, online, mobile, VoD, IPTV and home video distribution.

The content gives an irreverent view on topics such as celebrities, music, politics and religion, including titles such as Thugs on Film, The God & Devil Show and Starship Regulars.

The programming also includes the Best of Mondo Mini Shows, a collection of half-hour TV shows.

Fireworks International has also signed carriage deals for the Mondo Mini Shows and Mondo’s animated ‘Happy Tree Friends’ title, as two channels on the Joost IPTV platform.
