Enensys to team with Skyline DataMiner
Enensys Technologies, a French designer and manufacturer of transmission products for digital television broadcasting, has formed a new collaboration with Skyline Communications. Skyline’s DataMiner multi-vendor network management platform is an extremely powerful management system that will allow Enensys to provide cutting-edge technology both from its solutions and from the management system points of view.
With DataMiner, Enensys Technologies’ systems are fully monitored but are also automatically redundant thanks to DataMiner automatic switching intelligence.
When it comes to interfacing with monitoring and management applications, the strength of Enensys Technologies’ products is its unique Simple Network Management Protocol centric architecture. SNMP is a pivotal component of every Enensys product design, and consequently every single parameter accessible via the device web interface or front panel, is guaranteed to be available through SNMP.
DataMiner is one of the most advanced network management systems available in the industry, and is already deployed by leading operators across the globe. Its open architecture and advanced capabilities will enable Enensys’ customers to create an end-to-end perspective on their systems, across any vendor or technology boundaries.
The combination of these leading products will undoubtedly result in powerful applications for customers around the globe, and will enable them to reduce operational expenses, while at the same time increasing service quality and availability.
The selection of an open architecture network management platform also underlines the commitment from Enensys Technologies to provide its customers with the best of breed, and to enable them to continue to leverage their investments.
Both companies will be presenting the latest innovations in their respective product lines at NAB 2008 in Las Vegas from 14 – 17 April in Las Vegas.
