Orca Moves Into Russian Market
IPTV middleware and applications provider Orca Interactive has joined forces with Viaccess.
They plan to work together on new projects aimed at enhanced delivery IPTV solutions across the massive Russian nation.
Their first solution, RiGHTv, is already up and running with several Russian operators, including Siberia Telecom and Southern Telecommunications Company.
The new solutions are aimed at giving operators new ways to generate revenue with unique TV services and broadband facilities operated under companies’ own brand names.
Under the plan, operators in each of Russia’s multiple regions will average OnDemand content, TV channels and broadband facilities.
Orca and Viaccess will take care of reporting and authentication from their regional office in Moscow.
