Tiscali TV Search Tool

by Grant Draper

Tiscali has announced the launch of its search tool to TV subscribers, a new user friendly tool which allows users to identify programming they are wanting to watch, quickly and easily.

The new search tool is extremely user friendly, allowing users to use various features to catch up and identify on demand programming from a huge program bank in the Tiscali library.

Users can search by category and specify the type of programming they want to search, whether that is broadcast only, on demand only or Catch Up TV.

The search can be across one, several or all channels, allowing for an accurate search and only relevant results.

Searches can be conducted using the name of the program, the amount of credits the program has received or even cast members’ names.

Once the search is completed, the Tiscali search tool lists in relevance order, with broadcast only being first, then on demand only, Catch Up TV or all of the above.

From conducting the above search, users can set reminders, book recordings or find their way straight to the program.

The new features, including a more user friendly system for navigating around Catch up TV, makes the overall package more appealing to existing and potential Tiscali subscribers.
