Telecom leaders to speak at IPTV World Forum

Junction Ltd has added new conference streams to the IPTV World Forum 2008, reflecting soaring demand in the global market for IPTV and other advanced TV services.

Leaders from major international operators will speak at the prestigious event, which will be held at Olympia National Hall in London on 12th-14th March, including:

• Eric Abensur, VP Broadband, Orange/France Telecom;
• Jean Charles De Keyser, Executive Chairman of the Board, Skynet Belgacom TV, Belgium;
• Thor Jes Thorisson, VP of ICT, Siminn, Iceland;
• Anders Brandt, International Business Development Manager, Lyse, Norway;
• Marc Schwarze, Senior Manager Project Leader IPTV, Deutsche Telekom, Germany;
• Ludolf Rasterhoff, Director, TV and Media, KPN, The Netherlands;
• Markus Gisi, Head of TV Services, Swisscom;
• Paolo Agostinelli, Head of Media and TV, Fastweb, Italy;
• Alex Ogilvie, SVP Business Development and Operations, Warner Bros International TV.

A total of seven conferences will provide comprehensive coverage of issues reflecting the diverse nature of content delivery over multiple platforms and facilitating the exchange of ideas by those actively involved in the industry.

The seven conference topics are IPTV World Forum, IP Cable, Satellite 2.0, TVOverNet, Interactive TV Advertising, The Connected Home and the Mobile TV Summit.

The conferences will share a joint exhibition space which will be free to attend and delegates will have the opportunity to attend a networking party at a leading London venue.

The second IPTV World Series Awards ceremony will also be held at the IPTV World Forum 2008, the flagship event in the IPTV World Series, a market-leading collection of IPTV conferences and exhibitions held worldwide.
