Neptuny announces ContentWise 2.0
Neptuny, the IPTV performance management specialist, plans to launch ContentWise 2.0 at IBC 2008, the broadcasting and media technology event, which will be held at the RAI Centre in Amsterdam, from 12 to 16 September.
ContentWise addresses the problems faced by users in accessing IPTV content.
This can have a significant impact on customer retention rates for IPTV operators, with subscribers likely to leave if they are unable to easily find programmes they wish to view.
ContentWise is a Content Recommendation Engine which allows IPTV operators to offer content tailored to a user’s individual preferences.
These preferences are determined through user ratings and content metadata.
The ContentWise technology also presents opportunities for cross-selling, by recommending products related to the content viewed.
