Bell Aliant chooses Corinex
Corinex has announced its home networking technology has been chosen by Bell Aliant, to aid its Aliant TV. By using the Corinex AnyWireTM, multiple set top boxes can be connected to a DSL modem, reducing the installation time of Aliant TV.
Aliant TV, a 240 digital channel package, was launched in 2005, and starts from $29 per month, now becomes more appealing, to both installers, and customers with it’s reduced installation time.
“Bell Aliant chose Corinex’s unique AV networking technology because of the ease and speed of installation,” said Andre LeBlanc, Bell Aliant’s team lead of television services. “We surveyed the market and found Corinex’s AnyWireTM Connectivity products to be the most cost effective and bulletproof solution for solving the in-home distribution problem, and our installers love them.”
“Bell Aliant is a leader in delivering IPTV, and we are happy to be a part of delivering the Aliant TV service offering to homeowners across Atlantic Canada,” said Eric Barker, manager of the Bell Aliant account for Corinex.
The Corinex AnyWireTM connectivity solution used by Bell Aliant, uses indoor coaxial cabling, which is already installed in homes for Video Transmission.
The simple AV adapter to a DSL modem and AV connection to the set top box using a coaxial cable, and the install is complete.
