PlayTV in channel deal with Baeble Music

UK-based IPTV company, Global Digital Broadcast (GDP), has secured a deal with Baeble Music, to provide a music channel on PlayTV UK.

Baeble Music, which distributes live concert videos online, of emerging bands, together with album reviews and band profiles, will launch a 24 hour music channel on GDB’s PlayTV UK service.

PlayTV UK has incorporated high-definition and digital technologies to provide a triple play package including IPTV, telephony and broadband services. It was launched in January 2008 and already has 10,000 subscribers.

The Baeble Music channel will also be available on GDP’s services in America, Europe and the Middle East.

GDB set-top boxes are available, allowing viewers to watch its channels on television sets, as well as on PCs.

Shows can be previewed in free streaming format on the Baeble Music website, and can purchase the entire show as a DVD or high-resolution Windows Media download.
